🔍 FBR Active Taxpayer List — Income Tax (ATL-IT) Search
Verify if a person or company is a registered income tax filer with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Pakistan.
What is the Active Taxpayer List (ATL)?
The Active Taxpayer List (ATL) is published by FBR Pakistan every year. It lists all individuals, companies, and AOPs who filed their income tax return for the latest tax year. Being on the ATL gives you lower withholding tax rates on banking transactions, property, vehicles, and more.
You can search by NTN / CNIC or by Taxpayer Name.
In Pakistan, if you are an individual taxpayer, your CNIC number is your NTN. For companies and businesses, a separate NTN is issued. Enter whichever you have — the tool searches both.

📋 How to Use This ATL Search Tool
For Individuals (Person / Salaried / Business Individual)
Your CNIC number is your NTN. Enter your 13-digit CNIC number (e.g. 3520212345678-9) in the search box. You can enter it with or without dashes.
For Companies & AOPs
Companies have a separate NTN issued by FBR (e.g. 0000091-4). Enter this NTN to check if the company is an active filer.
Search by Name
Switch to the “Search by Name” tab and enter the taxpayer’s full name or business name. Type at least 3 characters for accurate results.
Why Does ATL Status Matter?
- Active filers pay 50% lower withholding tax on cash withdrawals and banking transactions
- Reduced tax rates on property purchase and sale
- Lower tax on vehicle registration
- Reduced rates on foreign remittances
- Required for business compliance verification
When is the ATL Updated?
FBR publishes a fresh ATL once a year, typically in March or April, based on return filers for the previous tax year. The data on this page reflects the latest published ATL. For real-time official verification, visit atl.fbr.gov.pk.
